The first GeoHumanities Annual Event, organized by the editors of the new AAG journal GeoHumanities, will feature readings from four internationally known Bay Area poets. These poets engage with the interface between poetic practice and the GeoHumanities themes of space, place, and the environment in ways that are subtly but urgently political.
Guest Speakers:
  • Cecil Giscombe, University of California, Berkeley
  • Juliana Spahr, Mills College
  • Douglas Powell, University of San Francisco
  • Brenda Hillman, St. Mary’s College of California
