The seventh bi-annual Race, Ethnicity and Place Conference (REP VII) will take place October 22-24, 2014, in Ft. Worth, Tex. The registration deadline for presenters is June 20, 2014. If you are planning to present at the conference but have not yet submitted your abstract, go to: http://rep-conference.binghamton.edu/html/Call_for_Papers.htm.

Students, faculty, and other professionals representing a wide range of disciplines from numerous states and nations will attend REP VII. These scholars share an interest in racial and ethnic transformation of places worldwide and reflect a mix of applied and theoretical perspectives, often within a spatial framework.

Along with hundreds of paper, poster, and panel presentations, the conference will feature a welcoming reception, two luncheons, field trips and a closing gala dinner.

The Sheraton (1701 Commerce Street, Ft. Worth, Texas 76102, 817-335-7000) conference hotel has a block of rooms available at reduced rates for attendees. Once this block is full, the reduced rate will no longer be available. Due to a TCU football game that week, prices are expected to be very high, so please make your reservation as soon as possible to make sure that you get a room at the conference rate ($149 for a single or double).
